Abstract
For discrete-time MAS, this chapter is a counterpart of Chap. 6 which deals with continuous-time systems. As in Chap. 6 as well as in reference Cao et al. (IEEE Trans Ind Inf 9(1):427–438, 2013), we can identify two kinds of delay. Firstly there is communication delay, which results from limitations on the communication between agents. Secondly we have input delay which is due to computational limitations of an individual agent. We consider both uniform and nonuniform input delay. In each case, both full- and partial-state coupling networks are considered.
