Abstract
There are numerous applications of heat pipes and thermosyphons. Heat pipes have been extensively used for thermal management of aerospace electronic devices. Readers can refer to the subject of heat pipe applications in aerospace and aircraft in this encyclopedia. This chapter provides an overview of fundamental concepts of heat pipes and thermosyphons, and some important applications of the two technologies.
