Abstract
This paper reports the findings of implementing a cooperative learning method in an undergraduate 'core' Management Information Systems course taken by business students with diverse backgrounds and interests. The results confirmed the effectiveness of cooperative learning but also showed interesting findings of students' perception of the method. The paper also reports factors identified by students that might be detrimental to the successful use of cooperative learning. When planning to employ cooperative learning in their teaching, instructors can take into account those factors to improve their implementation of cooperative learning.
