Rebecca Devereaux

Rebecca Devereaux M.L.I.S,M.A. is the liaison librarian to the School of Business Administration and School of Leadership Studies. Hailing from East Wenatchee, Washington, her upbringing along the Columbia River deeply influenced her academic and professional journey. She earned her undergraduate degrees in History and English Literature from Whitworth University before pursuing a dual master's program in History and Library and Information Science at Simmons University in Boston. This unique program allowed her to combine traditional academic studies with hands-on exploration of the city's rich cultural institutions, including its many museums and special collections. 

At Gonzaga, Rebecca has expanded collaboration with the Spokane Public Library by partnering with StartUp Spokane. She is highly involved in AI literacy efforts across campus, leading workshops, reading groups, and providing in class instruction. Additionally, she helped coordinate the library's first ever summer camp, Camp Foley!
