
Molly Parker

Dr. Parker has been a registered nurse for over 14 years, she recently earned her PhD in Nursing Science from Washington State University. She is a nurse educator in areas of Nursing Fundamentals, Community and Population Health, Social Determinants of Health, and Contemporary Healthcare Environments. Clinically, she worked as an operating room nurse in the cardiac surgical setting for 9 years. Before becoming a nurse, Dr. Parker worked in public health and community services in both urban and rural settings. Her research uses community engagement and mixed methods to explore health disparities exacerbated by climate change, particularly occupational health and safety for agricultural workers exposed to wildfire smoke.
