Madhura Nadarajah

My research uses a cultural rhetorics framework to analyze how informally represented communities use storytelling as a form of critical literacy to make sense of their often fragmented and fraught experiences with rhetorical erasure and violence. As a writing instructor, my pedagogy is rooted in culturally responsive teaching which encourages students to use their cultural knowledge as a point of reference in their learning.
