I'm a cognitive psychologist with a primary interest in psycholinguistics. The focus of most of my research has been how people use and understand language, but lately I have been branching out and exploring a range of methodological and statistical issues as well. I came to Gonzaga University in 2020 from Wayne State University in Detroit, where I taught and did research for 22 years.
