Elizabeth Wawrzyniak

Elizabeth is the Digital Scholarship and Publishing Librarian at Gonzaga's Foley Library. In her role as the DSP Librarian, she oversees the Gonzaga Institutional Repository, Pure Faculty Profiles, Gonzaga Library Publishing, and collaborates with Caitlin Bagley to manage the Digital Scholarship Lab. 

Before coming to Gonzaga, Elizabeth worked as the Digital Humanities Specialist at Marquette University's Raynor Memorial Library. She has an MA in Medieval Studies (Leeds, 2007) and a MA in English Literature (Marquette, 2014). In addition to scholarly communication, and digital scholarship & humanities, Elizabeth has an interest in Arthurian literature, both medieval and modern, and is currently working on a project exploring modern adaptations of the King Arthur narrative and the ways  these new versions of the old story engage with gender, sexuality, race and ethnicity, and more.
