- Professor, Physics
Along with teaching a variety of lower division courses, I typically teach PHYS 450: Statistical Physics and PHYS 205: Modern Physics for majors. The small class sizes, around 5, of the major's courses gives me a chance to get to know the students better and customize the course to their needs. My research interests are in Inverse Scattering Theory and the Philosophy of Time. Most recently I have been considering how Information theory impacts ideas of the metaphysics of time. (I regularly teach Philosophy of Time for the Philosophy Department.)
