I believe that all children have the capacity to learn and that teachers need to look at the supports and challenges that students encounter. Teachers need to work diligently to reduce the obstacles that create the challenges and strengthen the supports that build success. One significant support that even the most challenged student has is resiliency. Teachers need to help students discover their potential and develop a strong self-esteem. Students are our future and we need to make sure they have a passion for protecting humans and our natural resources. Teachers teach children to be thinkers, questioners and problem solvers.
