Arturo García Osorio

Arturo García Osorio received his M.A. in Hispanic Literature at the University of Texas at Austin. He has been teaching university-level Spanish since 1998 and joined the Gonzaga University faculty in 2017. He joined the Middlebury College Summer Spanish School as a tutor in 2019, he worked for the 2010 U.S. Census as an ethnographer, and helped the immigrant community in Illinois by creating video testimonies about Latino immigrant issues with ICE and the local police. Currently, he is working on a documentary "Conversations in Puebla's Cathedral: The Story of Rey Hernández, Soccer, and Culture in the 80s." He enjoys interviewing people, running the trails of Spokane, playing soccer, and traveling with his family.
